Accommodations:

Attendees must register for The Revolution & Paradigm Shift in Treatment of Migraine to book room reservations at the discounted group rate at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The discounted group rate is  per night, plus taxes (single/double occupancy) and is based on limited availability. The booking link will be sent to the email address provided upon registration. The group rates are available to registered attendees on a first-come, first-served basis or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. The deadline to book room reservations at the group rate is June 10, 2024. Reservations made for days outside of the block or made after the sold-out date/booking deadline will be based on the hotel’s current rate. Reservations will be verified with the registration list. Reservations made by non-registrants will not receive the discounted group rate and may be cancelled.

Accommodations:

Diamond Education Foundation will cover your hotel stay (room rate and tax) for the days/nights you are scheduled to present. Please complete your Faculty Room Reservation Form as soon as possible so that your reservations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can be made to reflect your request. Fees for extra days/nights outside of your scheduled lectures and additional guest fees will not be covered and will be at your own expense. You will receive your hotel confirmation email directly from Walt Disney World Resort at info@cvent.com.

 

Travel Arrangements:

To book your airline reservation, please contact Barbara Witkowski at Rex Travel. Please indicate that you are a speaker for the Diamond Education Foundation. To obtain the best possible rate, we ask that you book your airline reservation at least 30 days in advance. All reservations will be reviewed and  paid by DHCREF. Any changes made after the reservation has been approved/ticketed will not be covered by DHCREF unless pre-approved.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for primary care providers and those specialists who have an interest in migraine and other headache disorders including but not limited to anesthesia, pain and addiction, internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency medicine, ear, nose and throat, neurology, hospitalists, psychiatry, and pharmacists as well as other health care professionals (physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses) who are involved in the diagnosis and management of headache patients.

 

Educational Objectives                                                   

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

 

  • Incorporate the differential diagnoses of headache disorders
  • Implement preventive treatment as migraine is progressing and transforming
  • Employ various options available for treating the pediatric migraineur
  • Determine the challenges and treatment protocols for post-traumatic headache
  • Use effective therapeutic tools that address the gender specific challenges of treating women with migraine

Call for Abstracts:

The Diamond Education Foundation is pleased to invite abstract submissions for poster sessions at our live conference: The Revolution & Paradigm Shift in Treatment of Migraine. This conference will be held July, 11-13, 2024 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The deadline for abstract submissions is June 2 2024 by 11:59 PM (CST). All abstracts will be reviewed by the Review Committee and may be accepted or rejected for poster presentation. Notification of acceptance and instructions will be sent to the submitter via email by June 11, 2024 or sooner. Abstract submission constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present their work if abstract is accepted. Poster presentations will be displayed throughout the course – refer to the program agenda for the schedule.

All poster presenters are required to register & attend the full course. Poster Presenters are responsible for set-up & dismantle of posters at designated exhibit/poster times & should be available for questions/inquiries for poster sessions throughout the course. Airpod Raffle:

Attendees may opt to participate in an Airpod Raffle. To enter, attendees are required to visit each booth and have their raffle card hole-punched by each exhibitor.
